Yelp.com and the Museum Team Up

Yelp.com and the UNLV Marjorie Barrick Museum invite professionals, amateurs, teachers and students to participate in their visual art exhibit "89XXXhibition" celebrating the diversity of the Las Vegas valley. Only local submissions will be accepted. The exhibit will fill the main gallery of the museum - displayed May 20 - July 9, 2011. Final selections will be chosen based on artistic excellence in reflection of the theme "My Las Vegas Community" and will be made by a 2-judge panel of professional artists, curators and art professionals. Deadline: April 8, 2011. No entry fee. All work must be wired and ready to hang, gallery wrapped and finished. No special installation requirements. An opening celebration will be held May 20th.
