Call for Exhibition Proposals for 2011!

Call for Exhibition Proposals

The UNLV Marjorie Barrick Museum is currently accepting exhibition proposals from artists and curators. Space for exhibitions is limited and competitive. Solo and group exhibitions are welcome. Artists and/or curators must be willing to discuss their work on at least one occasion during the show.

Submit the following:

1. Cover letter with contact information
2. Exhibition proposal: Short statement describing the concept for the exhibition. This should be no more than 1 page.
3. 10 – 20 images of work to be exhibited on CD/DVD a. Include 2 different views for 3D works b. Video works should not be longer than 2 minutes in length c. Include contact info on CD/DVD
4. Detailed list of images submitted (size, title, date, medium)
5. CV/resume
6. Supporting materials (press releases, articles, reviews, etc.)
7. SASE if you wish your materials to be returned

All materials should be mailed in one packet to:

No email submissions will be reviewed.

Please note that you will be expected to be present for the installation, reception and de-installation of your show.
